Not yet tested by us. These steps follow OpenAI's documentation. We have tested Creativity with Claude end to end, not yet with ChatGPT. If something differs, tell us and we will update this page.
ChatGPT can answer from your Creativity data the same way Claude does: your Meta ad performance, your creatives with their AI tags and transcripts, the comments under your ads, your saved reports and the competitor ad library. It reads one workspace, the one you pick, and never changes anything in Meta.
What you need
- In Creativity: you are an owner or admin of a workspace on the Standard plan or its free trial.
- In ChatGPT: Developer mode. If you don't see it, you need a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace where the admin has enabled custom MCP connectors.
Connect
These are the steps on the ChatGPT tab of Settings → Account → Connect AI, which also has the address with a Copy button.
- Open ChatGPT on the web.
- Go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
- Go to Settings → Apps → Create.
- Name it Creativity, add a short description, paste
https://mcp.creativity.run/mcpand select OAuth for authentication. - Click Scan Tools.
- Connect to Creativity and sign in. On the consent page, under Select workspace, pick the workspace this connection will read, leave Allow edits unticked unless you want ChatGPT to manage your saved reports, and press Allow.
One workspace, and edits
Like Claude, each ChatGPT connection reads one workspace. You change it, and turn Allow edits on or off, on the connection under Connected clients in Settings → Account → Connect AI. Connect Claude explains both: what edits allow (saved reports only, a delete is restorable, never Meta) and what a filter looks like.
Your first questions
Ask "Which Creativity workspace can you read?", then ask in plain words. Brief ChatGPT on your brand once, in a ChatGPT project for that brand: Get the most out of Claude and ChatGPT has the brief and the prompts, each with an Open in ChatGPT button.
The strategist plugin is Claude's; in ChatGPT, the same method comes from Creativity itself when you ask for strategy.
Disconnect
Settings → Account → Connect AI → ChatGPT, under Connected clients, press Revoke. The connection stops working from ChatGPT's next request. You can also remove the app in ChatGPT's settings.
