What each workspace message means
The consent page's Select workspace list and each connection's Workspace menu in Settings → Account → Connect AI list every workspace you belong to. The ones an AI assistant can't read are locked, with the reason next to them. Claude and ChatGPT get the same reason, in the same words, when they ask.
- Coming soon: AI assistants are opening workspace by workspace. Yours is not open yet; nothing to do.
- The workspace is on the Free or Starter plan: AI assistants come with the Standard plan. On the Connect AI page, the Standard tag opens the plans and their prices.
- The free trial ended: AI assistants open again once the workspace is on Standard: choosing Standard shows what to pay, and the plan starts when your payment lands.
- Ask your workspace owner: only an owner or admin of a workspace can connect an AI assistant to it. Each person connects their own assistant, so ask your workspace owner to make you an admin.
"This connection has no workspace yet"
The connection was made without picking a workspace (you have several and none was picked). Open Settings → Account → Connect AI, find the connection under Connected clients, and pick one in its Workspace menu. Claude's next request reads it.
I have several workspaces
A connection reads one workspace at a time. To work on another brand, change the connection's workspace in Settings → Account → Connect AI (its Workspace menu). The change applies to every chat that uses the connection, and it turns Allow edits off. Ask Claude "Which Creativity workspace can you read?" to check.
"Allow edits is off"
Claude can read your saved reports but needs Allow edits to create, change, delete or restore them. Turn on the Allow edits switch on the connection in Settings → Account → Connect AI; it applies from Claude's next request. If there is no switch, or Claude says edits aren't open for your workspace yet, your workspace doesn't take edits from AI assistants yet: nothing to set.
Claude doesn't have the new tools
Claude keeps the list of tools it read when you connected. If you connected before help search, ad comments, the storyboards and report edits arrived, Claude doesn't know them yet. Remove Creativity in Claude (Customize → Connectors) and add it again with the address https://mcp.creativity.run/mcp (Connect Claude, "Or add it by hand"). The connection keeps its workspace and Allow edits.
Removing the connector vs. Revoke
- Removing the connector in Claude (Customize → Connectors) stops Claude asking. The connection's workspace and Allow edits are kept: add it back and it picks up where it was.
- Revoke in Settings → Account → Connect AI ends the connection on Creativity's side from Claude's next request, and resets its workspace and Allow edits. To connect again, remove Creativity in Claude, add it again and sign in.
Claude registers a new connection each time you connect it, so Claude can appear more than once under Connected clients: revoke each one you no longer use.
Claude or ChatGPT says it cannot connect
- Check the address:
https://mcp.creativity.run/mcp, nothing before or after it. - Remove the connector in Claude (Customize → Connectors) or ChatGPT, then add it again from Settings → Account → Connect AI.
- Sign in to Creativity with the account that is owner or admin of the workspace.
On Claude Team or Enterprise, your Claude owner must add the connector under Organization settings → Connectors before you can press Connect.
It asks me to sign in again
A connection stays signed in on its own. If you revoked it in Creativity, or it stopped answering, remove Creativity in Claude or ChatGPT, add it again and sign in.
No ad comments
Claude reads the comments under your ads only once a Facebook Page is connected to the workspace: Settings → Workspace → Data sources, then the Meta card's Edit, then Connect Page (Connect your Facebook Page). Instagram replies to comments are not stored, and Claude never gets who wrote a comment.
"The storyboard hasn't loaded"
Sometimes the image of an ad reaches Claude a moment after the text. Claude then says it can't see the storyboard yet and describes nothing from it, rather than guess. Send any message ("go on") and it looks again.
"Not available" in an answer
Creativity never guesses a number. When an answer says a value is not available, the reason comes with it:
- The data is cached, not live. Creativity syncs your ad data every hour; each answer says how fresh its data is. A campaign changed a few minutes ago may not show yet.
- No AI tags yet. Hooks, angles and the other tags exist only for creatives Creativity has tagged. An assistant reads the tags; it does not make them.
- No store data. Orders, refunds and contribution margin come from your brief, not from Creativity, unless your store is connected.
- Competitor ads carry no performance data. Meta's ad library shows what runs, not what it spends or earns.
- Not in Creativity: customer reviews (Claude can search the web for them), the campaign budget type and bid strategy.
The numbers differ from Ads Manager
Compare the same dates and the same attribution setting, and remember Creativity's numbers are as of its last sync. If they still differ, send us the question and the answer and we will look.
The gallery does not appear
The playable gallery shows in clients that display interactive results: Claude on the web, the desktop app, Cowork and the iPhone app. Elsewhere (Claude Code, ChatGPT) the same answer comes as text, with links to open the ads in Creativity.
Cowork asks me to approve an edit
Creating, changing, deleting or restoring a saved report changes your data, so Cowork may ask before Claude does it. Approve it, or say no and Claude stops.
